Emergency School Closing Procedure

Administration will make the decision as to school closing no later than 6:30 A.M.

The following radio stations will be notified in the following order:

  1. K.C.H.I. FM / 98.5 on your radio / Chillicothe
  2. K.T.T.N. FM / 92.3 on your radio / Trenton
  3. K.G.O.Z. FM / 101.7 on your radio / Trenton
  4. K.Z.B.K. FM / 96.9 on your radio / Brookfield
  5. K.M.Z.U. FM / 100.7 on your radio / Carrollton
  6. K.R.E.S. FM / 104.7 on your radio / Moberly
The following Television stations will also carry our information:

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28, 2015:
FFA Back To School BBQ at 6:30 pm at Strickler Park.  Members will be bringing home a personal invitation.  All FFA parents and family members are strongly encouraged to attend.    

SATURDAY, AUGUST 29, 2015:
FCCLA Recruitment Night at Strickler Park from 7-10pm. Learn about FCCLA, play games and participate in the scavenger hunt! Snacks and drinks provided!

MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2015:
H. S. Faculty Meeting at 7:45am in the FACS room.
Senior Class Meeting in Mrs. Triplett's room during Ac Lab to vote on final decision for:  Class Motto, Song, Flower, and Color.  We will also discuss Senior trip and class group picture.
Boys Baseball Practice:  3:30-5:30pm.
Cross Country Practice:  3:30-4:00pm.
Girls Softball Game at Brookfield:  5:30pm.  Bus leaves at 4:30pm

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2015:
Drumline Competition Rehearsal - 7:50-8:10 am
A representative will be here from Jostens to meet with the Sophomores at 10:30am and 11:00am for Seniors.
Girls Softball Practice till 5:30pm
Trap Practice after school
Cross Country Practice:  3:30-4:00pm.
Boys Baseball Practice:  5:00-6:15pm.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2015:
SCHOOL WILL DISMISS AT 1:00PM. – Teacher In-Service
No Girls Softball Practice today.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2015:
Drumline Competition Rehearsal - 7:50-8:10 am
Magazine Sales will start. Juniors will meet with the rep during Ac Lab.

Cross Country Practice:  3:30-4:00pm.
4:30-5:30pm: Parents as Teacher Play Group in the Kindergarten classroom. All PAT families and children (residing in our school district) ages birth to 4/5 years old are welcome to attend. Contact Ms Seifert for more information.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2015:
FFA jacket orders due
Juniors wishing to take the PSAT on October 14 need to sign up outside Mrs. Cokerham's office by today.  The PSAT is a practice SAT test.  Students planning to go to college outside of the state of Missouri may need to take the SAT for admission.  The cost of the PSAT is $14. 
Cross Country Practice:  3:30-4:00pm.
Girls Softball & Boys Baseball Game at Brashear:  5:00pm.  Bus leaves at 2:45pm.

Yearbooks are in and if you have not received yours yet please contact the school.

All Juniors will take the ASVAB on September 9 from 12:15-3:26 pm.  More information will be sent home next week.

I would like to ask the help of the Meadville Community with yearbook this year.  Walsworth has added a new feature to their software that will allow for uploading of photos via cell phone.  The application you need to download is Yearbook Snap you can do this through your play store for Androids and App Store for Iphone users.  Once the app is download you will be asked to enter a code for Meadville, the code is eagles.  In order to submit a photo you will need to pick a category, press the + button, then select camera, take picture.  Once picture is taken you select that picture and press the upload button, then follow the prompts.   BY SUBMITTING A PHOTO/PHOTO’S VIA THIS APP DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE PHOTO’S WILL BE IN THE YEARBOOK.  If you have any question please contact Mr. Carr.
