Emergency School Closing Procedure

Administration will make the decision as to school closing no later than 6:30 A.M.

The following radio stations will be notified in the following order:

  2. K.T.T.N. FM / 92.3 on your radio / Trenton
  3. K.G.O.Z. FM / 101.7 on your radio / Trenton
  4. K.Z.B.K. FM / 96.9 on your radio / Brookfield
  5. K.M.Z.U. FM / 100.7 on your radio / Carrollton
  6. K.R.E.S. FM / 104.7 on your radio / Moberly

The ag construction class has several wooden dog houses for sale that we have built.  Prices range from $65-$150.  Stop by the ag building to take a look.  We also have an 8 ft.picnic table for sale for $135.

SATURDAY, MAY 7, 2016:
Macon Music Festival - Bus leaves at 7:00 am. Meadville student solos begin at 8am, concert band performs at 10:45 am
District Track @ South Harrison High School. Bus leaves at 7:00 Field events Start at 9:30.

The Laclede Pershing Days Committee is having its 1st Annual Mother's Day Art Contest for the area schools. Some of Meadville's student works (grades K thru 7) will be displayed at the museum. Visitors will be given the opportunity to judge the works and People's Choice Awards will be awarded in each category. To see the artworks and judge for your favorite, visit the museum from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm today, or on May 8th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Winners will be announced on Monday. Winners will be having their picture taken with their artwork for the newspaper (will be taken at the school upon returning the artworks).

All JH and HS Track athletes please bring in your uniforms.
Baccalaureate:  10:00am in the school gym.
Graduation:  2:00pm in the school gym.

MONDAY, MAY 9, 2016:
Sophomores need to report to the Spanish room at 8:15am for the ACT ASPIRE.  They will be dismiss to class around 11:30am.
Kindergarten "Tour of Meadville" Field Trip
Freshman are to go to lunch at 11:30am and report to the Spanish room at noon for the ACT ASPIRE.  They will be there until 3:15pm.

Grade cards will go home with students today.  All obligations, lunch, library, uniforms, classroom books must be taken care of before your child(ren) receive their grade card.

THANK YOU to the PTO from the faculty and staff for the wonderful treats and the nice things you have done for us this week.   It was greatly appreciated and very thoughtful.

American History, Algebra II, English I, English II and Biology EOC reports are being sent home with students.

Students that have hams need to be brought in for inspection.

5th grade needs empty paper towel tubes for a project! Thanks! 

As MAP and EOC Individual Score Reports are released to the school during the summer, notifications will be posted to the school website.  Individual Score Reports will be handed out in the fall; parents wishing to obtain their child's reports once they are available in the summer should check the school website and email Mrs. Cokerham at acokerham@meadville.k12.mo.us after they are ready.

Camp Rainbow is once again looking for volunteers age 14 or older to work at their summer camp for physically and mentally handicapped campers.  Camp will be June 19-25, 2016.  Applications can be picked up from Mrs. Cokerham and are due to Camp Rainbow by May 6.

Kate's Kountry Kookin' will be donating 10% of her Meadville sales on Tuesdays to the Meadville PTO, in order to help fund elementary field trips and assembly's.

Summer Midget Ball Practice is Monday, May 9th.

PeeWee Boy’s Ball Practice:  6:00pm on Tuesday, May 10th.

North Central Missouri Falcons American Legion Baseball “Tryouts” will be held May 20-27th for ages 13-19.  For more information, check out the bulletin board up by the office.
