Cross country districts will be held this Saturday at the Howard Hills Athletic Complex in Moberly. Girls will run at 10 am, boys to follow.
Daylight Savings Time!!!    Turn clocks back 1 hour.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2014:
Secondary Faculty Meeting:  7:50am in the FACS room.
The Hannibal LaGrange Rep will be here during Ac Lab to meet with the students that signed up with Mrs. Cokerham.
Varsity Basketball Practice:   Girls:  6:15 - 7:45 A.M.    Boys: 3:30 - 5:30pm
Jr. High Basketball Game w/Brashear:   6:00pm   Concession Stand:  Freshman

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2014:
ASVAB interpretation during 8th hour & Ac Lab in the Foreign Language Room.
Today is the last day to sign up to meet with the NWMSU (Maryville) Rep on Thursday 11/6.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The FFA would like to thank everyone for their continued support on the fruit and cookie sales.  It was a success!!!

Cheerleaders and Dancers: Practice starts next week! You MUST have your physical turned in to either Coach Nier or Mrs. McLain in order to practice. 

The Yellow Creek Gobblers NWTF Chapter in Linn Co. has a $500.00 scholarship open to students living in Linn Co.  Go to http://www.nwtf.org/jakes/scholarship.html to apply by January 1, 2015.

The Show-Me Chapter of the Soil & Water Conservation Society has a $2,000 scholarship for students planning to major in conservation or a natural resources-related field.  Go to http://www.moswcs.org/scholarship for more information.  Applications must be postmarked by December 1, 2014.
The Conservation Foundation of Missouri offers 5 scholarships for $1,000 to students in different natural resources areas.  Go to http://www.moswcs.org/scholarship to apply by December 31, 2014.

Sophomores: Class dues have been set at $20 this year. Please get your dues paid to Mr. Anderson or Mrs. McLain. 

Yearbooks are now on sale for the 2014-2015 school year. From now until January 1st, 2015 the price will be $35 and $40 after the deadline. If you would like to order a yearbook please see Scott Singleton, Karen Surber, or order online at www.meadvillemoeagles.org .

Shafter is having a meeting on Sunday,  November 2nd at 2:00pm at Shafter to pick up trash (dress appropriately for weather).  Then we will go to Corams and have a meeting, weiner roast and hayride.  See you there.  Danielle Herring at 895-5373.

S.T.A.N.D., Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014  – 5:30-7:00pm    Supper Provided

BOOSTER CLUB MEMBERSHIP: support the athletic department and become a member for only $20.00 per family or $50.00 per business. Booster Club appreciation night will be November 17.  All booster club members and immediate family get in free at the junior high basketball vs. Atlanta. Make checks out to Meadville Booster Club and give to Kathy Seckington or John Schmitz. Thank you for your support.
