Trap practice:   4 pm
Softball Game at Hamilton bus leaves at 3:30. Game at 5 JV

WEDNESDAY, September 3, 2014:
1st grade please return your library books TODAY!

SCHOOL WILL DISMISS AT 1:00PM – PLC
Can-Do Kids from 1 PM-5 PM.  This free after-school program is offered the first Wednesday of each month when school is dismissed early at no charge to all Kindergarten to 6th graders.  If you have any questions, call Richard Casady 938-4595 or Lori Kiehl 247-0744.

ANNOUNCEMENTS, BREAKFAST and LUNCH MENU

Seniors:  Go to WendysHeisman.com to apply for the Wendy's High School Heisman Award.  This scholarship is open to all seniors who participate in athletics.

Juniors and Seniors wishing to attend the Trenton Area College Fair on Wednesday, September 17 need to sign up on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Cokerham's office by Monday, September 8.  We will leave school at 8:15 am and return at 11:15 am on September 17th.

National FFA Officer visit Monday September 8th, 8:15 am-8:45 am.

Area 3 FFA Leadership Conference will be Wednesday, September 10th.  We will leave MHS at 2:00 pm.  This is an official dress event.

Macon FFA trap shoot will be Saturday, September 13th.

Students in grades 5-12 who have participated in community service activities in the last year can apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award Program.  For more information or to apply, visit spirit.prudential.com/promotion by November 4, 2014.

PEANUT ALLERGY:  In reference to the Food Allergy Policy in the Handbooks and due to several students having a peanut allergy, we are asking that parents/students please do not bring any food that contain any kind of nuts (peanuts, almonds, etc).  Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Parents of 7th grade students:  Please beware that they can now go back thru the line for seconds; however, there is an extra charge.  Please refer to your handbook for those charges.

4th grade is looking for modeling clay and old crayons and hand held pencil sharpeners.

Grades 4-9:  The district has received individual student reports from Spring 2014 MAP testing.  These reports will be sent home with parents during Parent/Teacher Conferences on October 23, 2014.  Parents wishing to obtain student reports prior to October 23 should contact Mrs. Cokerham.

Yearbooks are now on sale for the 2014-2015 school year. From now until January 1st, 2015 the price will be $35 and $40 after the deadline. If you would like to order a yearbook please see Scott Singleton, Karen Surber, or order online at www.meadvillemoeagles.org .

PTO would like to thank everyone who came to Back To School Night and to eat at our taco dinner fundraiser! The money we raised will go towards events and supplies for our children and teachers.
